What is jarð?
Jarð is Old Norse for earth. The product is a modern, mobile-friendly excavation and coordination system that replaces KGrav and GeoSak from Geomatikk. Coordination and dig permit applications belong together in the workflow. Municipalities should not need two half-finished systems.
Jarð is the third product in the Landmarker family, alongside graveinfo.no and Landmarker portal. Own name, own logo, shared values.

Why jarð?
Of 357 Norwegian municipalities, only around 20 use KGrav and 70 use GeoSak. The rest use PDF, email and phone for excavation coordination. KGrav is from 2006, not mobile-friendly, and requires training and an implementation project. Jarð is built for everyone, from day 1.

For the municipality.
A case worker in a municipality of 8,000 inhabitants handling 30 excavation cases a year should be able to use the system without training. Up and running in a day. No implementation project.

For the utility owner and contractor.
As a utility owner, you already use graveinfo.no. Jarð is the next step: coordinate plans, submit dig permit applications, receive approvals digitally. All in one system.
As a contractor, you check status, download permits, and mark work complete. From the phone. Without calling the municipality.
