Landmarker.

Infrastructure technology

Every day Norway
digs blind.

Landmarker builds systems that give infrastructure owners and operators verified knowledge, real-time awareness and documentation that holds up. From planning to operations.

The problem

Every day Norway digs blind.

Damage to fibre, power, water and wastewater costs society billions. Without precise information about what lies beneath the ground, damage occurs that delays projects, drives up costs and in the worst case costs lives.

Technology

How we do it.

Landmarker uses distributed acoustic sensing combined with in-house algorithms to give infrastructure owners real control. The fibre cable in the ground becomes a continuous sensor — no extra hardware required.

DAS, sensor-based monitoring

Distributed acoustic sensing, around the clock.

Fibre-optic cables are used as sensors along the entire route. DAS continuously registers vibrations and acoustic signals. In-house algorithms separate mechanical excavation from background noise and produce operational information. Only real threats are escalated.

The platform

One platform for Norwegian and European infrastructure.

Landmarker is built as one coherent platform. graveinfo.no, sensor monitoring, cable location and documentation hang together, and the infrastructure meets both Norwegian and European requirements from day one.

01

Norwegian and European

The platform handles Norwegian registries and European standards in parallel. Built for sovereign data per country.

02

NIS2-ready

Event log, alerting and reporting structure that meets the Digital Security Act and the NIS2 directive.

03

Coherent

Modules share data and context. What you register in one place is reused where it makes sense.

04

Operational today

graveinfo.no is already live with 4,000+ infrastructure owners and 356 municipalities.

NIS2 and the Digital Security Act

Documentation that holds up to audit.

The NIS2 directive and the Digital Security Act require owners of critical infrastructure to be able to document both how the infrastructure is secured and how incidents are handled. Landmarker builds documentation that is traceable, verifiable and available when the regulator arrives.

The team

The people behind it.

Landmarker is built by people who understand both the technology and the infrastructure industry.

CEO & Founder

Jarle Nyhus

In 2022 Jarle himself was five millimetres from hitting a high-voltage line while excavating. That day he founded Landmarker. Today he leads the company and builds the technology that makes sure it never happens again — to him or anyone else.

Responsible for daily operations, product delivery and customer relations. Point of contact for partnerships and major customers. Makes sure that what Landmarker promises is actually delivered.

Coming

Open positions

We are growing.

Are you the right person to build infrastructure technology for the future? We are looking for people who understand both code and cables, and who want to help build the platform for all of Europe.
